Woman rescued from Mokelumne River in Clements
A woman about 20 years old was rescued by Clements and Mokelumne firefighters in the Mokelumne River on Friday night, Clements Fire Chief Dave Ingrum said.
Four men, two from Stockton and two from Lathrop, jumped into the river just west of Mackville Road and rescued the woman at about 9:19 p.m. One of the men called 911.
Two of the men were rescued by Clements firefighters, while two others were rescued by Mokelumne firefighters, according to Ingrum and Mokelumne Fire Chief Michael Kirkle.
The woman, whose name was not immediately available, was taken to Dameron Hospital in Stockton.
