BRITTANI DAVIE: FLOOR SUPERVISOR, TOMMY HILFIGER

"Do what you love and do it great, and you will continue to grow and be successful." —Brittani Davie 2012 Graduate, Bachelor of Arts in Fashion & Retail Management, The Art Institute of Charleston Brittani Davie is working as a floor supervisor at Tommy Hilfiger in North Charleston, SC. Her job responsibilities include delegating tasks, assisting customers, responding to inquiries, and payroll. She says that the responsibility she most enjoys is creating visuals for the store. “I do men’s, women’s and kids’—including windows.” She advises current students to work toward their goal and not give up. “Do what you love and do it great, and you will continue to grow and be successful.” Brittani, who in 2012 earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fashion & Retail Management from The Art Institute of Charleston, says that her education helped to prepare her for a career in retail management. She continues to grow professionally by keeping on top of trends. “Watching runway shows, reading magazines, and watching TV will always keep you up to date,” she says.
