Pacific Avenue store robbed
STOCKTON - A man robbed a store in the 5900 block of Pacific Avenue about 9 a.m. Thursday, authorities said.
Witnesses told officers the man entered the store and asked to see the manager about a product, police said. As the manager was assisting him, the man acted as though he had a gun and demanded money from the register, authorities said. Employees handed over cash, and the man fled on foot toward Pacific Avenue.
The robber was described as a black man 20 to 24 years old standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds and wearing a black sweatshirt, black sweat pants, a black hat with a red brim and a black and white Nike duffel bag.
